IMG_7248.JPEG

What will the future of work look like? How will life conditions change in the incoming years? What changes will be evident in education? This  online conference addresses all these questions through talks, roundtables and the act of artful thinking reflecting on the future we are facing. The GRASP Network’s unique and specific approach is to “invent futures” by applying the catalytic power of art as an inspirational driver, thus bringing forth new skills and abilities in an ever-changing complex contemporary context by means of artistic expression. This experiential and participatory symposium is itself strongly influenced by art.

The talks, the discussions, and the interactive sessions called Knowledge Huddles draw inspiration from the sparkling world of contemporary art. In this online conference, keynote speakers and participants from all over the world share their insights on what will happen next.

Interactive Workshops called Knowledge Huddles

What is a Knowledge Huddle?

Wikipedia defines a huddle as “an action of a team gathering together, usually in a tight circle, to strategize, motivate or celebrate...

The concept of a Huddle is commonly used in American Football to give the team energy and a feeling of togetherness before each play. Starting from this the K-Huddle of GRASP Network is a sort of embrace of brains, a meeting between people to share understanding on a specific topic.

The methodology was created by GRASP Network to foster the understanding of subjects which usually are hard to conceive due
to their immaterial and thereby invisible characteristics. A K-Huddle supports knowledge creation through artful thinking exercised within a group either as a collective body or applied and exploited by each participant individually. In practice the core
of the method is to fuel inspiration for innovation in support of knowledge processes.

In a K-Huddle people come together for 3 hours to reflect on a certain topic. We facilitate these meetings using visuals and artworks
in the thinking process. The K-Huddles can take place both in virtual and in physical.During the Symposium Grasp Network offers three Knowledge Huddles that follow the main themes of the Symposium. Book your place in advance as we have only a restricted number of places available.
