Knowledge Huddles

What is a Knowledge Huddle? Wikipedia defines a huddle as “an action of a team gathering together, usually in a tight circle, to strategize, motivate or celebrate... The concept of a Huddle is commonly used in American Football to give the team energy and a feeling of togetherness before each play. Starting from this the K-Huddle of GRASP Network is a sort of embrace of brains, a meeting between people to share understanding on a specific topic. The methodology was created by GRASP Network to foster the understanding of subjects which usually are hard to conceive due to their immaterial and thereby invisible characteristics. A K-Huddle supports knowledge creation through artful thinking exercised within a group either as a collective body or applied and exploited by each participant individually. In practice the core of the method is to fuel inspiration for innovation in support of knowledge processes. In a K-Huddle people come together for 3 hours to reflect on a certain topic. We facilitate these meetings using visuals and artworks in the thinking process.
